William Beutler Talked about his role as an editor, commentator and consultant for the Wikipedia website. Among the topics he addressed were potential problems, such as vandalism, which could be encountered on the website. He related the story of former USA Today editor John Seigenthaler’s battle to have malicious biography information corrected or removed from his own Wikipedia web page. He also talked about congressional aides editing and inserting information about their bosses in 2006. He also shared his early experiences with blogging, and spoke about why he became interested in editing and consulting.
