Temple’s New Online Database Archives Civil Rights Movement in Philadelphia

The site, run by Temple University, contains more than 1500 digitized primary source materials pertaining to Philadelphia’s modern civil rights movement. The site is geared towards scholars, high school and college students. But organizers see the database as a new way for the general public to tap into the city’s civil rights history.
